About Mike Porteous - Triathlon Coach

Mike is a Level 3 British Triathlon Federation Coach (the highest award in triathlon coaching), a Level 2 Swim England Swim Teacher and BTF mentor to coaches on the Level 3 High Performing Coach programme.

From 2014-2017 he was the Head Coach at Brighton Triathlon Club (Triathlon England’s Club of the Year 2015).

He also teaches children with disabilities to swim through the charity Level Water.

And he has been a regular contributor to the Outdoor Swimming Society as former Swim Coach in Residence.

Clients come mainly from the Brighton, Sussex and wider South East England area – though remote coaching from further afield is possible.
